Project Overview
Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) is unable to meet the demand for services, and is unable to expand enough on the main campus to meet the current or projected need. A replacement strategy has been developed and approved that includes development of satellite clinics in the Southwest, Southeast and Northeast Valley Areas. The Southeast Ambulatory Care Center is the second of the three locations to enter into design and construction.
Services provided include Administration Services, Business Offices, Health Info Management, Info Management, Audiology, Dental Care, Eye Care, Primary Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Mental Health, Social Work, Clinical Engineering, Facility Management, Health Education, Public Health Nursing, Public Health Nutrition, Education Group Consultation, Housekeeping and Linens, Property and Supply, Outdoor Equipment Storage, Emergency Medical Services, and Public and Employee Facilities.
The design integrates the cultural values of the Pee Posh and O'odham people by incorporation of symbology, materials and outdoor waiting areas, welcoming visitors to their community.
